And Sergio Will Have a Coronary in 3...2...1

A British music poll has found that the band Joy Division has the most iconic album cover of all time. Feast your eyes on the above image to witness it. Joy Division's album cover for Unknown Pleasures beat out The Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin for the greatest album cover of all time. The list in order of popular votes:

1. Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures;

2. The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses;

3. The Beatles - Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band;

4. The Smiths - Meat is Murder;

5. Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy;

6. The Beatles - Abbey Road;

7. Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon;

7. David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust;

9. Paul Weller - Stanley Road;

10. Sex Pistols - Never Mind the B*****ks

Maynard Says: Look at that album cover with it's squiggly lines. It's like...how much more squiggly could they be and the answer is none more squiggly. And who the hell is Joy Division?

2. The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses

4. The Smiths - Meat is Murder

Two of my favorite records. Hah! CD's, too bad it was just UK bands, as Jane's Addiction's Nothings Shocking cover would make the list at NUMBER ONE! Though I should add that they did a great disservice by leaving off the Pogues' Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash cover.

Wow, I am in a strange mood tonight. Better go comment on that Buffy post.

So, I decided to spam your blog, and make my own list.

I'm really curious - who in the hell did they survey? Blind people? Mental patients? The retarded?

Another example of why I should be placed in charge of the planet. When I am king, none of this nonsense will be permitted to continue.
