I'm Totally 16!

SkeptOlympics writes "A new chapter in the ongoing controversy surrounding China's women's gymnastics team opened today, as search engine hacker stryde.hax found surviving copies of official registration documents issued by China's General Administration of Sport of China. The incriminating documents, expunged by censors from the official site and from Google's document cache, still appear in the document translation cache of Chinese search giant Baidu, here (1) and here (2), showing the age of one of China's gold medal winning gymnasts to be 14 instead of 16, the minimum age for competition presented on her government-issued passport. Now that official government documentation is available, how long will the IOC be able to keep a lid on this scandal?"

Maynard, the two links you posted came back as site could not be found, for me anyways. Interesting. I wonder how long it took someone to be dragged out into the street and shot for letting this information be so easily found. It looks like the sites can no longer be accessed. Anyways, I figured the IOC would puss out and not have a set to stand up to China and demand answeres. Bob Costas ripped the head of the IOC a new hole shown last night during the Gold Medal round in Mens Basketball. He asked "Why not stand up to the Chinese government and raise some Hell?" Of course, he ducked and hid behind some gibberish about IOC policies and did not answer. This is just typical Olympic Comission not giving a damn and kissing ass. I wonder how much money was stuffed in the IOC for picking Beijing? It sickens me to no end that you have the best athletes in the world busting their collective behinds to honor their native countries only to be in the shadow of yet another Olympic scandel.
